We start by numbing the area around the tooth. Then, we remove any weakened or decayed dental structure. We then apply an etching material to prepare the tooth for the filling. We place the composite resin that has been shaded to blend with your smile directly to the prepared tooth in a putty-like consistency. We shape the resin into position, filling in any chips or cracks. Then, we apply a curing light to the damaged area to harden the filling in place. Dr. Sharma then smooths and polishes the material.
